MBU special machine construction services

As an engineering office for special machine construction services, MBU GmbH offers all services related to project management. The project usually starts with a feasibility study in which possible variants are analysed both technically and commercially.

Based on the feasibility study, one or more possible variants are selected together with the customer, which are then compared and optimised in a layout study. The next step is to draw up a schedule with a timetable and a detailed cost estimate.

This is followed by the actual project planning, starting with the development of the project in 3D with the Solid Works programme. During the development phase we are in permanent coordination with our customer. Constant contact with our suppliers is also the order of the day during the development phase. This includes clarification of various technical details, costs and availability. MBU also handles projects including production and delivery as a general contractor.

After project planning, the production drawings with parts lists are prepared. During production and final assembly, this is accompanied and monitored by our technicians. The installation of the plants at our customers’ sites as well as the commissioning is carried out exclusively by our engineers. Our range of services is rounded off by the preparation of documentation in accordance with the Machinery Directive, including operating and maintenance instructions, risk analysis and CE certification.
